The diskriminacia.sk portal is developed and administered by the Citizen, Democracy and Accountability NGO, in cooperation with and with assistance from other non-governmental organisations with many years of experience in protection of human rights and antidiscrimination in Slovakia.
Authors include experts in psychology, law, sociology, as well as people directly involved with discriminated individuals, whether from the NGOs, public institutions or the private sector.
One of the goals shared by all the authors is to provide for a quality, fair and non-discriminatory legislative, social and legal practice and public awareness in Slovakia in order to eliminate prejudice and individual as well as structural cases of discrimination.
All pages on diskriminacia.sk seek to use a gender-sensitive language, i.e., distinguishing between feminine and masculine gender. Even when we occasionally use a masculine or feminine only, especially for the sake of better orientation in the text, we refer to individuals of both genders.
