The exhibition NUDES is dedicated to the feminist group Guerrilla Girls which has been for 25 years publicly protesting against various forms of sexism and racism - mainly in the area of culture and art.

Ženská mimovládna organizácia Fenestra pozýva na konferenciu Bezpečie žien zažívajúcich násilie a ich detí: Dokáže súčasná legislatíva a jej uplatňovanie v praxi ochrániť ženy a ich deti pred násilím?

Cieľom konferencie je reflektovať súčasné možnosti ochrany žien pred násilím v intímnych vzťahoch v ich aplikačnej rovine z pohľadu inštitúcií aj žien, ktorých sa táto problematika priamo týka. Zámerom je otvoriť verejný diskurz a podporiť spoluprácu všetkých aktérov a aktérok pri zvyšovaní dostupnosti efektívnej ochrany pre ženy zažívajúce násilie v intímnych vzťahoch.

This section illustrates discrimination on the basis of religion and belief, taking real cases. The cases mentioned do not necessarily exactly mirror the actual lawsuits, as they may be simplified for sake of clarity. The discrimination they involve was not always proved in court, and some cases did not reach trial.

If you have reason to think you have become a victim of discrimination based on religion or belief, you can defend your rights in civil court. The Antidiscrimination Law enacts the Civil Judiciary Order that applies in cases taken to court. If the court finds unfavorably in your case, you can appeal your claim to a higher court.
