EY2012 Team would like to encourage to participate in the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations 2012 (the European Year 2012) Awards, which aim to recognise the efforts of organisations and individuals in the promotion of active ageing and solidarity between generations.

The closing date for submissions is September 16.

Nominations can be still presented in five categories:

  • Workplaces for all Ages
  • Towards Age-Friendly Environments
  • Social Entrepreneurs
  • Reporting on Ageing and Relations between Generations
  • Life Story Challenge (submission deadline for this specific category is September 16th)

More information about each of the award categories:

 

All citizens, organisations and enterprises of EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are welcome to participate. The finalists in each category will be invited to the EY2012 Awards Ceremony, which is planned to take place in Brussels in November.

The EY2012 Team would be very grateful if you could help disseminate the information about the European Year 2012 Awards, either by publishing a link to the call in your website or just spreading the word among your friends and colleagues.
